Environmental Reviews
ISO 14001 requires that the organisation undertakes an environmental review of its business in order to initially determine where it stands from an environmental point of view and to identify areas that could be improved on or even where potential savings could be made. A review would typically cover the following general areas:

Energy consumption
Consumption of other non-renewable resources
Waste by-products and their means of disposal
General office type waste, disposal and recycling
Impacts on the environment due to operations generally
